Does FlipTree seek authorization/pre-authorization hold on the member's payment method for service request payment before provider starts the service request?

Yes. We may seek authorization/pre-authorization hold to verify that sufficient funds are available on the member's payment method to cover the service request payment. This will appear as a pending charge on the payment method. The pre-authorization will be initiated by the provider at the start of a service request.
