Does FlipTree seek authorization/pre-authorization hold on the customer's payment method for service request payment before service provider starts the service request?

Yes. We may seek authorization/pre-authorization hold to verify that sufficient funds are available on the customer's payment method to cover the service request payment. This will appear as a pending charge on the payment method. The pre-authorization will be initiated by the service provider at the start of a service request.
